Artist Biography

Lloyd Wilson is a full time Canadian Artist. He paints landscape images using oil on canvas. He is a successful, well established painter, having honed his skills for almost 30 years. Painting daily in his studio or in plein air, his work continues to evolve. Growing up in a rural setting in Southern Ontario had a profound influence on his love for the outdoors and the Canadian landscape. He finds inspiration everywhere in this wonderful country. His love for canoeing provides ample opportunity to gather reference material through photos, and on-site sketches that he turns into larger images as time permits Lloyd’s work can be viewed at his Bowmanville studio, as well as several prestigious galleries throughout Ontario.
