Whenever I’m camping in the interior ofAlgonquin Park, I am always aware of how small we really are. A small flicker of light on one lake within the vastness of this wilderness. The multitude of lakes that surround us. Just one tiny fire. We humans have certainly altered this landscape, but when you are sitting by the fire at night you really aren’t sure we have. That in one the of the things that make this place so special.
