Old Woman’s Bay is a stunning location along the shores of Lake Superior Park in Algoma. High cliffs with deep gashes carved into the headland and a wide bay that dances to the whim of the winds create an inspiring scene. In tribute to Lawren Harris I took as a starting point his painting “Lake Superior” and worked with my own reference material from Old Woman’s Bay to produce this work.
