About the sculpture:
Silence flows in rhythmic motion across these placid Algonquin waters, as we reflect on the days past. Skies clear of rain, and the light fades as a distant splash and radiating ripples give hints of underlying hunger. Visitors approach with vigilant respect, and glide in fluid motion across the glassy surface. The silence is broken in haunting tones, but we know that all is as it should be, as we are embraced by the loon’s call.
