Sylvia is an award winning, nationally recognized fibre artist and educator whose works have received much critical praise. She's been an exhibiting artist at the Algonquin Art Centre since 2005, and her works have been among the most popular in the gallery.
Sylvia uses her skills in free motion embroidery to create a tiny universe of threads as deft as a painter's brush. Her landscapes are inspired by her profound love of the outdoors and by her frequent trips into Algonquin Park.
